It's all going to be ok...

Dad went home yesterday, strict instructions to be up as he felt like it, but don't be afraid to rest. At this point, with him wanting to be home, that is the best place.

The good news from pathology is that the cancer was contained. They got it all. Staples will come out Friday.

Feel that breeze? That was my sigh of relief.

...

I have still managed to be quite crafty. I took my 'worry' bag with me - a bag filled to the brim with 100% cotton yarn perfect for washcloths. I think I ended up with more than 25 once it was all said and done.

...

After making my first baby clothes quilt, the mom I made it for wants me to have a trunk show at her home. She thinks it's just the neatest thing and that everyone should have a quilt made out of their old baby clothes. Me too. ha! Now I just have to finish up the other two that people have asked me to make.

...

Happy Hump Day!

SOOOOO good to hear that your Dad's OK - hooray!!!

Neat idea about the trunk show. I can see a little cottage industry forming here ;0)

Hip hip hooray that he is clear!!!

Your baby clothes quilt simply is the best, G. I am starting to think of clothes from N & J that I want to be made into a quilt.

I've been neglecting blogs. Damn facebook. Very sorry to hear about your dad, but I'm glad that the news sounds good.

I wish I would have saved some baby clothes - it sounds like a great idea.
