Finally Friday.

4 miles - check.

It was ugly, but I got it in.

I did it on the treadmill. It pretty much takes me two miles to warm up, the third is usually pretty crappy, but the fourth? The fourth mile felt really, really good.

Something else I hate about running on the treadmill, besides running on the treadmill, is that you can't spit or 'blow' your nose. You know, the 'farmer' blow?

Grocery shopping - check.

The major purchases have been made for the next two weeks. I've taken to buying from a local butcher. Yes, the guy with the white apron. He even carries it out to my car. Lovely. With fill-in items such as milk, bread, eggs and maybe a little more fruit, I'm looking at $200 for the two weeks. Not bad at all. Now, I just have to put it all away.

Laundry - don't remind me.

There is a mountain. High as an elephant's eye. I wish I were joking.

Craft crap - almost.

Yesterday I got quite a few more things made for etsy, but still have to photograph them and get them on the site. I did decide to sell my purse. And it's sold. One of the other moms at dance commented on it, and I told her I was thinking of selling it. She asked how much. $30. She's bringing money next week to dance. Pretty slick. I have two other quarter yards left, and a little of the other two. I'm brainstorming what to do with them.

I found my way to the fabric store (it is payday after all) and found some super-cute patterns for kids' aprons. Even better - it was on sale. Now, to find time to get them made.

One other thing...

I signed the toddler up for preschool next year - M, T, W, TH from 9 to 11:30 am. Holy moly, what am I going to do with myself? As my mom once said, "It takes a lot of work to get them to this point." Now, I'm just reaping the reward.

Have a great weekend.

Good job on the four miles! A workout that flies on the treadmill is a speed workout or even just altering the speed by 0.1 mph every X minutes. Sometimes, I do it every 30 sec! It sounds nuts, but it is good and the time flies and the miles go by quickly. I swear this is how I became a faster runner (well, you know, by my own standards).

Very cool on the purse and the fabrics! I cannot wait to hear what you do with it all.

I hear you on the mountains of laundry. The neverending chore.

It does take a lot of work to get them to the point of going to school. Then it seems like it becomes a different sort of parenting.

okay, now that i know you are not above the "okie blow" i have totally lost any respect i ever had for you.

by the way, my grandpa used to do that--until he went out on the back porch one very cold january morning and slipped and fell, breaking his wrist in the process. now he uses kleenex.

Mitzi -- Just think of the trees we are saving! ;)

Good on you for getting that 4 miles in...

I find Grocery shopping is at one satisfying -- remember when a $75 order used to last two weeks? Ah the days when I used to ramen noodles and tofu.
