Hump Day

When Mama ain't happy...
Woke up this morning with a headache. Thought it might have been the one drink before bed, but... It wasn't. My whole head feels like it's going to explode. Every time I stand up I swear I can feel my brain sloshing. I think I could go back to bed for the rest of the day, but that really isn't a possibility. That's one of the hard parts about being home - there is no backup and I can't really call in sick. I'll just try and do as little as possible today.

My latest project...
Every day I wake up and know how lucky I am. Every time I run water out of the hose for my plants, I think of kids that walk miles just for a bucket of questionable water. Church is asking for school bag donations. First, though, they want help making bags. Guess what I have just sitting in my craft room... Enough heavy duty fabric to make about 8 bags. Now, if I can just follow the directions.

Come sail away...
Next month, we're planning a neighborhood outing. As a neighborhood, we do quite a bit together - weekly bonfires, bowling, and plenty of just plain hanging around. The neighbors are also more than willing to lend a hand. This time, though we're going Tubing. It should be plenty fun considering you can take coolers and we're not taking kids this time. They also have a Kayak option which I think would be fun for Husband and I to do... sometime.

Now, to go see how long I can lay on the couch...
