Unlike last time, I didn't cry.

While at my sister's last weekend, my dad came back from his hunt in Montana. Soon enough, the talk turned to politics.

And then it happend.

I opened my mouth.

Needless to say, it wasn't pretty and I ended up in tears hiding in the bathroom. Not because I was sad, mind you, but frustrated. We were both sure that we were (are) right.

I'm have no doubt that my dad wonders how a liberal, lefty leaning child came from his loins.

Tonight was different. We managed to talk about politics without either of us (me) nearing hysterics. The point being, both of us are set in our decision. Neither of us can change the other's mind. We both want people to vote based on the issues and what they believe.

November 4th can't come soon enough.

Project updates coming soon. Unfortunately, I haven't had as much sewing time as I'd like. Even though the kids are in school, and I have some 'me' time, I still feel like there are so many things to occupy my time. The kids are enjoying school, and I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the quiet time! It's lovely, I tell you.

Politics is one of those things eh? My sister is the most conservative of our gang. Makes it hard when I'm almost a socialist. (Yes, I said that.)
