Seven Random/Weird Things

Miss Marnie over at Girl Number Twenty tagged me. She wants to know Seven Random and or Weird things about me.

Here it goes:

1. I have this thing about going up the stairs. I don't like it and am sure someone is chasing me. Generally, the lights have to be on and I run up them going two at a time. I also don't like anyone following me up the stairs at night.

2. During winter, I have very, very dry skin. So dry, my hands become discolored and nearly bruised. I have some amazing cream, I just have to use it.

3. I've worn glasses since the third grade. In seventh grade, I started wearing contacts. Someday, I want Lasik or the like

4. I can't sleep with socks on. Every time I run a load of whites, I pick up the pile of socks from my side of the bed.

5. My husband and I like to play Guitar Hero after the kids are in bed. We've progressed to Medium..

6. It is my personal mission to get each and every stain out of clothes. Just today I got something out of one of my husband's shirts that even laundering at the dry-cleaner couldn't! I am relentless.

7. I'm going to check that shirt one more time, and put lotion on my hands

What is the lotion? My hands are cracked and they hurt. My legs get itchy if I do not put lotion on.

I cannot sleep with socks on, either.

Yeah, what cream do you use? I have very dry hands in the winter.

How do you get stains out? Sometimes Oxy Clean can't even help!

Ah, Guitar Hero. You're speaking my language! LOVE THAT GAME.

I start with socks on and it's really cold, they stay on - but most times they end off on the floor next to my bed over the course of the night I call it my sock farm.

Have you ever considered buying a bungalow....?? LOL

Tree and Leeanthro - The lotion is "Elta" - it's the stuff the burn doctor recommended for my youngest.

The stains? Perseverence. First I try shout, and wash. Check the stain. If not I use the Spray and wash stick. Leave it a couple days. Wash again. If not, and there has been a little progress, I'll continue that path. Otherwise for whites I like the Clorox bleach pen.

Leslie - we're big dorks and wait until the kids are in bed - that way we don't have to share!

Aimee - Sock Farm. I'll have to remember that next time I get "The Look."

Karen - I wish!

I hear you on the sock thing. I have cold feet so I am always tempted to fall asleep with them on but they ALWAYS make me crazy and wake me up.

I have zero laundry skills. I bow to your talent.
