My latest

Winter is approaching. Hard to tell, given the unseasonably warm Fall, but it's coming. The other night the kids and I went to the basement and dragged out the coats, snowpants, hats, etc to see what still fit.

Good news, too, as we only need one pair of boots right now. The whole 'buy one size bigger' worked in my favor this time. Also, the Toddler is very content to wear her sister's hand-me-downs.

Alas, the kids wanted me to make them new hats. Who am I to say no...

The Toddler said hers is "Too Big!" and won't wear it. My eldest loves the "Neopolitan" yarn and asked if I could make mittens as well.

Ask, and you shall receive...

They're nearly done. Although I love the browns and pinks, I think using two strands makes it a little disjointed.

Thinking of making some more...

I LOVE the hats! It must be the season for yarn as I got my needles down from the loft last month. I just don't know what to knit at the moment though.

Wow you are very talented. I can only make a straight line. My son thinks he is too cool to wear winter wear.
