The paradigm has shifted
It's amazing what a day of manual labor will do to improve my mood.
Yesterday I hauled 5 cubic yards of mulch, one wheelbarrow at a time.Even with careful measuring, it happened to be about twice as much as I needed. I offered some to my neighbor, and she took me up on it. Now, both our plantings look great. I'm a little stiff, but in a good way.
That alone improved my mood.
But... To the really important information...
Tree and I are going to DENVER!
They set the cap at 10,000 runners. It hasn't been reached yet.
Count me in as one of them.
My flight is booked. Arriving in Denver at 3:15 on Wednesday, leaving Monday at 2:20.
Now, to find someone to watch the kids while I'm gone for a few days in October.
