Oh Aimee...

It starts out simple enough.

Measuring and cutting.
Putting together blocks, then strips.
Sewing, sewing, and more sewing.
Before you know it... It's the last row.
And you admire the way it all lines up.
The beauty of repetition.

Not done yet, though... I still need to find backing and maybe batting. And do the actual quilting. Then bind the edges.

Until then, I have enough fabric for one more quilt. It won't look exactly like this, but if you're interested let me know what it's worth to you and I'll put it together...

um, yeah. i'd get hung up at the "measuring and cutting" part.

i'm telling you, move here and make a very nice living designing and sewing my wardrobe...

I am so bummed my sewing machine conked out last year. I miss my sewing projects. Maybe if I'm good this year Santa will leave me one.

The quilt is absolutely gorgeous. I envy your free time to get things done.

The quilt is great. While the cutting appears easy a straight line eludes me.

What are you thinking for the stitching? I was thinking either brown or the orangey-salmony (who knows how true my screen is) color.
