It's coming.
I can feel it.
After dealing with a sick, and I mean Sick toddler, I'm getting it too.
Today is the first day she hasn't demanded "HOLD ME" more than twice.
Today is the day I need to catch up after a week of sick toddler.
Sunday I sat on the couch, holding her. 102.5 fever.
I could feel the heat through her hair.
Monday, sick. Threw up on me twice.
Tuesday, took her to the doctor.
We've covered this, I know.
She had the chills. You know, when you have a fever and goosebumps?
Tuesday she slept 20 out of the 24 hours. 15 of them on me.
Her head on my chest, like a limp rag doll, she slept fitfully.
Wednesday and Thursday - recovery days.
Today, Laundry. Lots of laundry. Poor machine's been spinning since 7:30 this morning.
Vacuum, dust, mop, bathrooms.
All I want to do is go back to bed.
On the upside. 208. Not 211. You're going the right way. Finally.
Today, I've noticed I have no appetite.
Perhaps I can use that to my advantage.

Our house has had flu as well first Sir Rowland, now me...and Pink Ninja just beginning... DH is gone out of town, and I feel like I am 80 years old with medicine...
may god have mercy on my soul
I'm sorry you've had to go thru this week of hell. It's bittersweet, though, isn't it that you're the only one who makes the babe feel better?
Good job on the loss...we're almost at a tie!
Hope you all feel better soon.
Ugh...I hope everyone feels better! Congrats on the weight loss.
Noooo! Mama can't get sick!
So sorry, G., I hope it passes quickly.
"just one stomach flu away form your goal weight." Totally kidding of course. Feel better soon.
We're hundreds of miles apart, but I think we've got the same bug. My two have been sick since Monday, they seem to be getting better, and I'm now feeling that unmistakable ick in the back of my throat.
I'm hoping we're all better soon. Really, really soon.
Nothing is WORSE than a sick toddler! Junior Mayhem has been fighting off a chest cold and two ear infections for 2 weeks! Congratulations on the loss! Hope this week is better!
Oh, it's so the worst when they throw up on you! I'm so sorry you guys are sick :(
Sometimes mother nature just isn't fair...you are all warn down from caring for your little one and then you get sick too!
Oh I hope you don't get the pukes! Ugh. And a sick toddler such an emotional (pity for them) and physical (they won't unwrap from you) drain - you might just be wiped out!
