Finally Friday
So I stepped on the scale this morning. 205. Not good, not bad. Not good, because I was hoping for at least a pound. Not bad, because I didn't gain any.
I was expecting it though. This week I stepped up my gym time, meaning I started going again. Went Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Wednesday I did 3 miles each, and Thursday 2 and weights. I'm going to try and go tomorrow morning also. I'm aiming for four times a week. I have four weeks until Marathon Training Time, and I need to get going on the pre-training. Stepping up my gym time also means I feel so much hungrier. So this week I didn't worry so much about what I was eating, but that I was going to the gym. Next week, I'll concentrate more on both.
I've invited another couple and their daughter over for dinner. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, and salad. Boring midwestern fare, but perfect for the time of year. Not much snow now, but it's really cooled down. It's currently 4 degrees with a high of 14 degrees (Dan - that's currently -16 degrees C and high of -10 degrees C) and looking for snow later in the day. Wondering, what wine do you serve with meatloaf? Or just stick to vodka tonics...
Tomorrow we're having the friend-birthday-party. It's at a bounce house type place. She can invite up to 19 of her closest friends, so we sent out all 19 invitations. I put and RSVP date of Wednesday. By Wednesday at 7:30 pm all but three had responded - two of them twins so I really only count on 2 parents that didn't respond. Still, that's pretty good. I could tell you the day they received the invitations - about half responded that day. She's so terribly excited, and I am too - not to have the mess at my house.
Right now, I need to get off the computer, get the other two kids dressed and head out on a grocery run. The big girl's decided that she'd like us to come for lunch at school, so we'll do that as well. Preschool today for the boy and home in time for the toddler's nap and a quick house clean. Just another day in paradise...
Oh yea, I guess it's "National Delurking Week." Come out and say hello...

I am with you on the marathon training, so if you need some support, you know I am there.
WOW! I think roughly 1/2 of the guests for N's party rsvp'd. I am seriously impressed.
I'm a new reader, delurking to say "hello"!
I also didn't gain or lose this week. I'll stick to the positive on that. :)
Delurking: I am here from MILF blogroll.
Peace,

Hi there!
Marathon training huh?
I'm impressed! I don't think I could ever imagine running 26 miles!!! Holy crap!
You get major points for getting to the gym!!!! You're already healthier! Also points for not gaining! Woo hoo!
About the Hydroxy Cut, tell me if you decide to up your dose or if you have any negative opinions about it. I'd be interested in hearing. Thanks!
Great job getting to the gym. I'm working on going back next week.
I'll bet you are a foxy 205. No gain is great, especially when dealing with the stress of your friend's situation. You are so close to onederland, keep on keeping on!
