I'm going to have to remember this...

As a parent, I'm continually looking forward. Thinking about how things will be different when the kids get older. I do occasionally look back, thinking how far we've come.

Read something funny today, and will file it back in my brain for future use.

Sean Penn on prepping his 15-year-old daughter's dates:

"I tell them that whatever they do to my daughter that night, they better be prepared to come home and do it to me too."

Though I know it's much different coming from Sean than me, I can totally imagine my husband saying something like this.
