What scares me

My number one fear used to be sharks. Yes, I realize I'm completely land-locked and no sharks exist in nature in the midwest, but I am still terrified of them.

My new fears - hearing the water running when I'm in the other room and the sound of the toilet being repeatedly flushed. It's a toss up.

Hoo boy can I relate! Mine used to be spiders. Now it's hearing a crash followed by, 'I'm not hurt.'

That's OK. I have an irrational fear of small pieces of wet paper. (???). Also, the sound of a dry paint brush scraping on paper makes me gag.

I know, I need help.

Isn't it funny how things change?

Aimee- don't you unwrap your straws a special way?

How the hell did you remember that? YES I DO. And Bryan knows to take all the scraps that Declan leaves now that he has figured how to open straws so I don't have to touch them. It's just unspoken between us.
