Twenty seven point seven

My 15 month old weighs 27.7 pounds and is 33 inches tall. The doctor was very impressed in how proportional she is. Oh yea, 17.5 percent body fat. Between 15 and 18 is normal for her age. Funny, too, in that she has the chunkiest legs and big barrel chest. I dream about 18 percent body fat. She's doing all the things she should - walking, trying to talk, climbing from the chair onto the table, yelling at the top of her lungs when things don't go her way... Right now she's napping while the boy watches "Diego" and I have a few minutes of quiet time. Ha.

I'm pretty pleased with myself too. I've kept off 22 pounds for awhile now. Ok, for a month. I tried on some of last year's 'maybe if I lay down I can zip them' jeans and they fit. That compounded in I put on my belt and I had to go down two notches. Still trying to eat 'sensibly' and exercise 3 or 4 times a week. Also walking big girl to school every day it's decent. And staying out of the kitchen - which is harder than it looks.

I feel like I'm in the kitchen 'all day'. Between three kids - I think I make or prepare food at least six times a day. Plenty of time for munching on my part, just trying to have healthier alternatives. After school is the hardest, they are all hungry, even though only one of them has been in school.

Off to make my grocery list. And clean out the fridge. Whoo hoo!
