It's pretty bad when I receive a package in the mail and my Toddler says, "I hope it's not fabric..."

...

Things are getting better.

Not that things were bad, just different with school starting and the new routine.

I joined the Big Health Club down the street last week.

I started Weight Watchers (from home, I'm too cheap to pay) yesterday.

Something must be done.

I am supposed to be doing the Twin Cities Marathon October 5th. It's not going to happen. Ugh. Best I can do from this point is look forward - like spring or so.

...

Over the next few days I'll be putting things on Etsy again. I took a hiatus over the summer, but have a lot of ideas for the fall, and upcoming holidays.

I agree...even though it is nice to have the kids in school, getting the routine down takes some doing. We had just gotten 2 weeks into school, a good routine, bedtime, etc and Hurrican IKE hit.
Now we are going to 7 days out of school and counting, it feels like summer vacation to the kids, we will be back to square one when school does resume.
At least we are all fine and well with no damage so I cannot complain.

Weight.......GRRRRR
I feel your pain.

I decided against Nike, so we are both in this together. It's hard, isn't it? It is such a huge commitment - mentally, physically, time-wise.

Toddler's comment made me laugh!

Just a thought on the running...why not a 1/2 marathon. The time commitment for training is so much less. I found I could easily do the runs while the kids were in school/preschool and than 1 long run on the weekend max time gone 2.5 hours. It's still challenging but not overwhelming (at least that's how I feel).

my kids say the same thing when I go to the post office. oh, probably more fabric! (sarcastically, of course.)
