Busy couple of days...

Took the Toddler to the Apple Orchard with her preschool class.
Helped our neighbors with a little landscaping project- bullet pavers. She asked a couple weeks ago if we'd be interested in combining our planting and using pavers. Why not? It would look a whole lot better.

One of the great things about the kids getting older - they can help. And help they did. Every one of the pavers was moved by a kid. The adults did put them in the trench, though.

This picture is of our yard, the other is taken from the neighbors. She's getting mulch at the end of the week - I told her to let me know and I'd be happy to help.

Holy crap look at the size of that yard!!! (Sorry I live in the city we have a half postage stamp lot.)

Yeah, it's great when you realize they can help.

She is a cutie. There's gonna be boy trouble, I'm tellin ya.

Of course some of that trouble is gonna be because some boy tried to kiss her and she punched him in the nose!

I cannot believe the toddler is in preK. I remember when you were pg with her!

The yard looks wonderful! I love that you have combined with your neighbor and made something cohesive, attractive and great for kids.

Do you not have boundaries for gardens in America then?

Karen: Yes, there are boundaries and property lines. Limits to what you can do.

I gets very complicateted as well. If you've let someome use your property without objection for long enough.. they can claim it as theirs. It's crazy.
