It's not you, it's me

Really, promise.

My parents have been here this week, and we've been rather busy.

Swimming, canning 18 pints of preserves, T-Ball games, Softball practices, and general 'family' time have kept us busy.

The preserves? Mom and Dad brought 3 gallons of tart cherries from their trees. We processed them all and are now enjoying delicious preserves.

Swimming? The kids made sure to show off all their skills at the pool.

Softball? The Big Girl's getting better with her cast, but still not playing games. She's getting her cast off the 21st.

T-Ball? There were five outs last night, and my Boy got all of them! Including an unassisted double - he caught the ball as catcher getting the hitter out, and then ran it to first and got the runner that had taken off for second out there too. The third batter? The Boy got the ground ball and ran to first getting the batter out there. Three up, three out! Whoot!

The kids have been having a great time.

Unfortunately, last week we had some phone service issues that took well over a week to resolve. In deciding to switch our phone service, we told them the last day we would need their service would be the 16th. They turned off the internet and phone yesterday. Oy. Right now, I'm using my parents MacBook Pro and their wireless card. Unfortunately, they're leaving tomorrow and taking their computer with them.

So if you don't hear from me for a few days, don't despair - I'll be back online as soon as I can.

Until then...

Hey! You can't be everywhere at once and it sounds like you're having a great time with the family. Have fun and see you back here soon.
