All consuming

I'm really, really good at starting projects. Not so good at finishing them. This one? This one is different... I must get it done.

It's been the strangest experience, working on this double-secret-probation project and not sharing it.

I mean, what else is there about me? Lately all I've blogged about are my crafts.

There's more going on.

My oldest has her last two weeks of dance leading up to the recital next weekend. My parents are coming, as is my mother in law. My girl is terribly excited to 'show off' what she's learned.

We signed The Boy up for T-Ball. My husband signed up to be an assistant coach. No such luck - he's the head coach. That leaves me as the Director of Operations. I put together practice plans, and make sure things run smoothly so that he looks good. They practice twice a week.

Our oldest decided last year, in July, that she wanted to play softball. I told her it was too late in the year, but let me know 'next year' if she still wants to play. It's next year, and she still wants to play. They practice twice a week, and starting next weekend, have tournaments every other weekend. Oh? Didn't I tell you this is a traveling team? Yes, she wanted to be on it with her BFF. It doesn't hurt that we know the coaches as well. Right now, as excited as she is about dance, she's ready to be done and concentrate on softball.

The Toddler? She's just along for the ride.

I'll get all three of them signed up for swimming lessons before too long. Living in the land of 10,000 lakes, not knowing how to swim is not an option.

I guess this is what I get for having three kids.

I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Having fun getting caught up on your blog. Really, really curious about the double-secret-probation project. Maybe we'll see it when we come for the oldest's dance recital! Ya think!?
