Finally... I'm in the mood.

Today was the Toddler's preschool orientation. The kids played and goofed around while the parents talked with the teacher. This year is nice - the Toddler has the same assistant teacher as The Boy. She's pretty excited about that.

On our way home, I finally got in the mood. Finally. My husband's been gone all week, and it couldn't have come at a better time.

Before I could give it a go I had to pick up some supplies at the store. The Toddler kept quiet quickly picked them up. We managed to get home to get the Boy off the bus.

I herded them in the house, plied them with snacks, and promised them more if they could just keep quiet in the basement for an hour.

The laundry room was first, then the kitchen - top to bottom clockwise - washer and dryer, counters, floors and even the dishwasher. I managed a quickie in the pantry, then the family room. The family room - I don't know how many times I had to bend over. I thought about lighting the fire, but it would have just gotten in the way. Rushed upstairs and hit two of the kid's rooms. By this time, I'm getting a little worn out and ready for a break. Log on to the computer and check my email.

If I have time this afternoon, I might just take a turn in my bedroom. Otherwise, I'm all tuckered out.

But at least my house is clean.

What did you think I was talking about?

LOL!
I knew what you were talking about from the start too...but you still had me going for a split second, I had to re-read for a sec. there :)
This gave me a much needed laugh.

I am with you, fantasy and reality are two different things. Maybe something else was going on in your mind as you were bending over...

Fantasies seems to be on everybodies mind, some comments to one of my posts surely improved my own fantasies!!

By the way I remember thosed days with the kids started school. Our four kids are now all teenagers and it is a whole different story!
