Rain

I love it when it rains.

It was raining when we went to bed and raining when we got up. It's still raining now - a lot. It took all my willpower as a parent to send my daughter to school today. I looked out and thought it would be fun to keep her home, hang out, and watch movies all day.

Alas. Summer break is almost here, and there will be plenty of time for that.

Instead, I'll pick out a closet to clean, a load of laundry to do, a drawer to sort, a bathroom to scrub down.

Maybe not.

Maybe I'll just pop in a movie for the kids, and finally finish that book I've been reading for the last month...
