Decided on a whim to try my hand at canning.
Why?
Good question.
For the princely sum of $10...
Hot banana peppers, zucchini, corn and itty bitty cucumbers.
That and my trusty Better Homes and Garden's New Cookbook...
Should make for an interesting afternoon.

You are BRAVE! Are you going to do refrigerator pickles or the kind you have to slave over a hot stove and bathe your jars?
Both - I have the refrigerator pickles done.
I'll do some of the other kind as well.
