Weekend Update
Friday we took off for KC - a 6 1/2 hour trip. Not bad, kids did as well as could be expected. Saturday and Sunday the Mother-in-Law and I took the kids to their neighbors pool. My husband and his dad played golf and went to the IRL race. Baking in 104 degree heat is not my idea of a good time.
Kids were timid at first at the pool, but amazing how fast they can become comfortable in the water given a little time, and a little direction.
Monday headed to my parents and took off Tuesday for the Homestead.
Weekend was good.
Closed it out with a fire and fireworks in the cul-de-sac.
Very nice.
Back to normal. Normal being groceries, laundry, and diapers.

You forgot one thing about being back to "normal": BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!
