Saying "Yes"
Sometimes, part of being Mom means saying... yes...
Playing in the sprinkler system.
They get wet? Dry them off.
Clothes get dirty? Wash them.
They get hungry? Feed them.
That's what summer's all about.

I have been trying to subscribe to this philosophy more and more lately. IE, I let N play in the sprinkler and the slip & slide at 9:30 a.m. last Sat. It was already 85 deg. Nothing wrong with that!
