When, exactly, did they grow up so much?
I must say, of all the gifts they received, the cereal dispenser was a huge hit. The love it because, hey - it dispenses cereal. I love it because we only have two kinds of kid cereal going at one time - not the usual dozen boxes with one bowl left.

Me, on my birthday, with my cake:

The cake itself wasn't bad. The texture was a bit different, but it tasted great. No, I'm not pregnant, it's just the picture that makes me look so. Also, I'm trying to figure out why I photograph so red, I swear I'm not drunk. Finally, I didn't realize my hair was so dark...

So far this week, my weight loss has stalled a bit. Nothing much, but it used to be enough to get me right off track. I'm working my way through it. Also, I've been making a more concerted effort to exercise, so that may play a part in the short term. Thinking long term, though.

I kind of want a cereal dispenser now :)

I read an article recently that said if you're exercising and not losing weight, don't worry too much about the numbers on the scale. Instead it suggested to take weekly measurements (arms, waist, hips, thighs, etc).

Muscle takes up less space than fat, yet weighs more. It's more important that your body is getting toned than what the scale says!

Happy Birthday!

Now I have cereal dispenser envy...

Not sure what softwear you're using for your photos but you try simple colour correcting to get rid of the red.
